ARMBRUSTER
PAUL F. ARMBRUSTER, age 91. Known as "Uncle Paul" to many, went to his eternal reward May 13, 2016. Beloved husband of 63 years to the late Marie
(nee Gornik). Loving father of Paul Jr. and Mark. Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey (Leigh Ann Evans) and Lindy; great grandfather of Hayden, Abigail and Lillian. Dearest son of the late Cornelius and Monica (nee Glassner). Dear brother of the following deceased: Bernadette Bauer (John), Gilbert (Marian, Henrietta and Patricia), Rosemary Beach (Ed), Cornelius (Rita), Florine, Zita Hausmann (Joe), Kathleen, Davida and Jacqueline Gole (Frank). U.S. Army World War II Veteran. Paul was the last living member of both the Armbruster family of 10 children from St. Rose's Parish, and of all their in-laws as well. He especially enjoyed Sunday family days. He was a devout Catholic, a staunch defender of unborn humans, a WW II Combat Veteran, a 35 year Owner of Armbruster Painting & Decorating, a union painter, a consumer advocate, a connoisseur of potato chips, an avid gardener and a victim of dementia. In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to the Monastery of the Poor Clares, 3501 Rocky River Dr., Cleveland, OH 44111, or the Midwest Province Jesuits, 2050 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60614, or Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Rd., Parma, OH 44134. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday May 21, 2016 Church of the Gesu, 2470 Miramar Blvd. at 10:00AM. Interment Tuesday May 24, 10:30 AM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (Rittman, OH). The family will receive friends FRIDAY 4 – 7 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
