JOSEPH V. SHANNON. Beloved husband of 38 years to Jan Marie (nee Noernberg). Loving father of Monica Ebsary (Edwin), Dr. Kelly Keefe (Dr. Michael), Anita Krizek (Michael) and Jason (Jean). Cherished grandfather of Rachel, Bridget, Morgan, Connor, Dillan, James, Helen and one more blessing on the way. Dear brother of Dolly McHail, Dr. George, James and the late Patricia Christner. Member of the Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus. Joe was a University of Akron and Cuyahoga Community College graduate. He was Owner-President of Profit or Savings Enterprise. Joe was well recognized and sought after expert speaker and teacher in Freight Transportation. He was a member since 1975 of the Evening College Faculty at Cuyahoga Community College. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Missionaries of Our Lady of LaSalette (Philippines), c/o 146 Front Street, Berea, Ohio 44017 in memory of Joseph Shannon. Mass of Christian Burial Monday August 7, 2017 Mary Queen of the Apostles Parish 6455 Engle Road at 10:00AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy Sunday at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends SUNDAY 1 – 5 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
