JOHN J. PALCISKO, age 75. Beloved husband of 54 years to Annette (nee Lovich). Loving father of John J. Jr., Brian (Charlene), and Craig Palcisko. Dear brother of Veronica Gaiser, Val Palcisco, Tom Palcisco and Emma Jean Wink. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends.John worked at Kroger's for 15 years, Owned All Pro Truck Repair in Cleveland's Flats, was one of the first teachers for Ohio Diesel Technical College and was there when the college transformed into Ohio Technical College for a total of 43 years and was considered the institution itself. He had many vital rolls which include Diesel Instructor, Diesel Department Head (and also Diesel Division Director), Director of Technical Training, Attendance & Training Administrator, Inventory Control Coordinator and PM Shift Manager. There's a building named after him and was dedicated on March 28th 2012. He was heavily involved in many of the industry's professional organizations, such as SkillsUSA, , Tri-County Maintenance Council, National Diesel VICA Committee and Association of Diesel. He was the President of Northeast Ohio Fleet Maintenance Council. John was ASE Master Diesel Truck Certified – as well as CPR and First Aid Certified – and earned the Perfect Attendance Award for most of his 43 years at the college. John loved his work and touched many souls with direct influence in this world's vast Automotive and Trucking industry. He gave each and every graduation speech to thousands of students with passion and love. Those students today are in every part of the world diagnosing, repairing, and making the world a better, safer place for everyone. He enjoyed his family, vacations, his dog Brandy (a beautiful Chow) and occasionally a good Polka. He enjoyed his life but for those of us who knew him, he left far too soon. He is truly one of God's greatest gifts to this world. Please consider in lieu of flowers a contribution to Cleveland Clinic Cardiovascular Research, P.O. Box 931517, Cleveland, Ohio 44193 in memory of John Palcisko.
