REESE
ALAN T. REESE, age 71. Beloved husband of Hazel for 25 years; devoted father of Sandra Clere and David Reese; cherished grandfather of Kaci and Makenna Clere; caring brother of Janet Colaluca, and the late Molly Knapik. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. For 42 years, he was a diligent employee for NCR Corporation. As a competitive runner, he completed many marathons and local races. He was a singer for over 50 years with the Barbershop Harmony Society, and a member of the 2011 International Senior Champion "Over Easy" Barbershop Quartet. His infectious humor and selfless acts overflowed and were continuously demonstrated, especially through his church family. Al gave a final gift of sight through organ donation. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Grace Church, Barbershop Harmony Society: HarmonyFoundation.org, or ToysforTots.org. A Celebration of Life Service will be 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2017, at Grace Church. Interment private at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends THURSDAY 2 – 4 & 6 – 7 PM at GRACE CHURCH, 7393 PEARL RD., MIDDLEBURG HTS., OH 44130
