Condolence & Memory Journal
My family lived up the street from Jill's family. My sister, Denise and I grew up with Jill and her sister, Lori. My brother, John was good friends with Jill's older brother, Reid, and my sister, Debbie, as a teenager had a crush on Ross. We knew the Benjamin family well. I remember hanging at each other's houses, listening to records, discussing whatever topic seemed relevant at the time. We were good friends. We celebrated birthdays, went to Cedar Point, had sleepovers. We were kids having fun growing up together. Once we reached high school our social spectrums broadened. As it often happens, our paths diverged and we became involved in our own lives and eventually, our own growing families. But the memories spent together growing up are forever cherished and held firmly in our hearts. I didn't really get to know Jill's family after marriage, but through facebook and connection to mutual friends, I was privileged to see her rich and blessed life through photos she so generously shared. A friend of ours arranged for us to meet for lunch in the old neighborhood a few years ago. After only a few minutes with Jill, I realized how little she changed, not just in appearance, but in her innate charm and cheery disposition. Even as I write this I'm smiling. She remains to me, a sweet and beautiful human being who was firmly ensconced in the family she so obviously and dearly loved. I am deeply sorry for her family's loss. It is my belief, though, however simplistic, that she is ascended to a better place, where I pray we see each other again. God Bless you, all.

To Joe, Brian and family,
I am so very sorry for this heartbreaking loss.
I lived on the next street over from Jill growing up and went to school together. She has never changed from the beautiful, sweet, and kind person she was back then.
May the memories and love she has for you stay forever in your hearts.
