Remembering Sweet Edith

Posted by Sherry Keller - High Point, NC - neighbor   December 20, 2019

To Judy and Sharon,

I heard of your Mom's passing from Sherry, a gal that lived across the street shortly after we left Ohio. We have got to be good FB friends! She had such touching memories of your Mom! As I of my family's time on Renwood the memories would not be complete without thinking of your Mom and Dad. I can hear her still calling me "Sandy Jo"! She was the only one that was allowed to call me that, because as a child I hated my middle name, but the way she said it was always so sweet! I loved your folks! They were two of the best I knew! And always treated my folks and me and Brad so so well! I am sure there was quite a reunion in heaven for all of the Renwood gang that made it there before her! Love you both!

Dear Sharon and Judy, I was so sad to hear about the loss of your mom. She and your dad were wonderful people. Some of my best childhood memories were playing at your house. I know she will be missed.

Aunt Edith was one of the most impressive persons of my life. She gave love and kindness to everyone. When I was a little girl she and My Uncle Homer took Me in and let Me live with them when My mom was in the hospital. I would also stay with them during the summer.Me and her went to the Cleveland Aquarium when it was by the shoreway, We got lost over by Hough Ave.I was scared and I remember her telling me all we have to do is look for the terminal tower and sure enough We found our way home. Aunt EDITH I love you with all my heart and now you can rest in peace. The gates of Heaven and Jesus welcome you home.Peace and Love Jeannie

Dear Judy and Family and Sharon and Family,
I was so Blessed that your mom saw a little girl sitting on the porch across the street on Renwood and asked if she could take me to church. I loved your mom so much and that Beautiful Smile will forever be with me. I will miss you my sweet Edith Roush. Thank you for sharing your mom with me.
Love & Prayers,
