DEACON
SHELBY J. DEACON (nee Baxter), age 73. Preceded in death by her beloved husband John "Jay"; daughter Kimberly A. Sponseller; son Joseph; sister Shirley J. Mays; brother George W. Baxter "Bill". She is survived by her grandchildren Anne and Kate Sponseller; sister Rita Pfeifer; brother in law Cliff Mays; sister in law Jeanette Baxter. Shelby was beloved by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was a positive, loving woman, whose outlook on life was caring and humorous. We hold gently to her memory. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 27, 2017 at St. Rocco Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends SUNDAY 1 – 5 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 3202 FULTON RD, CLEVELAND.

Dear Rita and Family.
Works can not express our sorrow for the loss of Shelby. She and your entire family has suffered a lot over the years with the loss of so many.
The only hope we have is the Shelby and you are no longer suffering and she is now back with her family.
God bless you for all that you have done in taken care of your dearest sister.
Jay and Shell were are best friends and both are greatly missed.
