Chuck and I attended school together for 12 years. We played football together for 6 years and wrestled together during the same time. I would say we could have been brothers .. next to each other on the offensive and defensive line and one weight class apart in wrestling. Chuck was a good hard strong man .. he will be missed!

We (my husband and I) just learned of Chuck's passing and wanted very much to extend our sincere condolence to you and your entire family.
I worked with Chuck at GE and he was kind and generous to me and David, but Chuck was kind and generous to anyone...it simply was in his nature.
He was simply a good man.

I just learned of this recently and am very saddened and shocked
that he left us too soon. Chuck and I go back to Pearl Road
Elementary School and we played a lot of Parma Heights
City Baseball together through the summers. He was a great guy
with humor and class. Rest well my fellow classmate.

Prayers to Chucks wife and family. It is with a heavy heart that I share my condolences to his family. It was such a delight meeting Chuck in the computer networking classes this April through June. He always had such a happy and jolly spirit about him that made everyone feel comfortable and at ease. He has been missed and we will remember him for his big smile and happy spirit. May the Lord comfort you during this time of lost.

I was shocked to here the news this week of Chuck's passing. I have lived outside the Cleveland area for many years now, so news comes slow to me. We were in school together since Pearl Road. I have so many memories--athletics, student counsil. I am extra sad that I was not able to make the 40th reunion. My thoughts and prayers are with friends and family.

Chuck will be in my prayers and wishing the best to his family and friends; so sorry for your loss. I would see Chuck at our reunions and all summer long as my wife and I walked the neighborhood nearly every night. Chuck was always friendly and a great guy to chat with. Chuck will be missed. My apologies for not being able to attend his service on Friday.

With deepest sympathy to his family, friends and community - I reflect on "dancing bear" as we called him in high school -- for his humor and compassion, as well as his strength, from the football field to his character and support of others. We'll remember you!

Stacee, I was so sad to see this in the paper this morning!! Please know my thoughts are with you during this very sad time.

We always looked forward to seeing Chuck at reunions. He was a good person and always had a good word to say along with a funny story-- usually about high school and something dumb we all did. We will miss him. Stacee, sorry for your loss. Our prayers will be with you.

Chuck and I were teammates all through school, we visited when he came back from Chicago, and reconnected when he moved home. Mary and I were blessed to share fun and good food with Stacy and Chuck on several occasions especially the fondue at the home they loved.
I literally just talked to him a couple of weeks ago. We were planning some fun later this summer. Mary so much enjoys seeing Stacy while Chuck and I just talked of the old days.
Chuck visited me at Marblehead last fall with Chuck Biscotti before we attended a reunion for Valley Forge wrestling on Johnson's Island. We had already talked about going this year.
I cannot express how sad I am about this passing of a good friend too soon. He was class president but friends with so many we all lose.
To Stacy our heartfelt condolences. And to my almost lifelong friend..... rest in peace

I was doing genealogy today and I saw Chuck's obituary. I was shocked. I could not believe what I read. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great guy and a good man. He was so welcoming and warm to me when I visited your family a few years back. I thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent together. You all made me feel at home. It is at sad times like these that I truly regret not keeping close relationships with my uncles/aunts and cousins throughout the years. Again I am so sorry for you great loss. Please accept my deepest condolences.

Chuck was simply the best... How shocking to hear he has passed, and so young. I am so sad. I do thank the Lord Jesus for the opportunity to meet his lovely wife Stacee at our 40th Class Reunion(my heart goes out to you, Stacee), and to catch up with Chuck after so many years. He was the most important boy of my youth, and what a blessing he was. From Greenbriar through VF, a kind and fun companion and friend, a gentleman... a fantastic wrestler, football player, etc.... so bright, affable, genuine, and "deep." I'm so sorry (sister)Cathy, and family. Stacee and Cathy, the entire Jones family will always remember your husband/brother as a fine person; the handsome, upbeat young man who graced our Magdala Drive home for a season... the "sweet" and all too short period of youth and innocence, which we now look back on fondly. Chuck, you were deeply loved and appreciated, and may you now be loved perfectly, eternally, in God's everlasting arms.

I grew up with Chuck. He lived on the street behind me as children. We played sports together, we were in cub scouts together and he would be over for scout meetings when mom would host them and always the biggest guy in the room. He was always a great guy and class act even as kids. To my old friend Chuck, it was my honor to know you and consider you a friend. You will be missed and remembered always. Until we meet again.

Stacee and Family,

As everyone has said, we are all saddened to hear of Chuck's passing at what truly is still a young age. For me, he was so welcoming as our class president and even when we were older attending our reunions. I just saw him at our reunion and he is still the same guy I remember from back in school.

I know it has to be terribly hard for the family. My thoughts are with you.

This is the kind of thing that shakes us all for different reasons. I grew up 6 houses away from Chuck. From his mom feeding a voracious group of kids (Kovach, Morris, Mason, Metzger) during the summer and after school to his accomplishments through life. He added a great deal to life and he certainly will be missed. It definitely was wonderful to spend several hours with him at the reunion.

The sad thing is that he's gone. The great thing is that we had him for 59 years. Sleep well Chuck.

There are just no words to describe the sadness I am feeling. Chuck was one of my childhood/neighborhood friends who I roamed the streets with during the summer and on weekends. His passing has triggered so many fond memories, including lots of laughter. I feel blessed that such a remarkable guy was a part of my life during my Greenbriar and Valley Forge days. My deepest sympathies go out to his sister, Cathy, and his wife, Stacee. Please know that he had a big impact on the people who knew him. A wonderful guy from a wonderful family.
God Bless you, Chuck.

I am so grateful that I had the chance to see Chuck at our reunion last year. He was always such a wonderful person to spend time with. Genuinely kind with a great sense of humor. From the early days at Greenbriar Jr. High to our 40th reunion. Always great to spend time with him. The world is a better place because he was in it.
